A Smooth Transition for Our Industrial Engineering Placements

Industrial engineering placement transition:

It’s always a bittersweet moment when a valued team member moves on, and last week we said goodbye to Benson Guo. Benson is wrapping up his incredible year as an industrial engineering placement student, and what a year it’s been!

Throughout his time with us, Benson has been an integral part of the team, bringing fresh perspectives and a keen eye for efficiency to every project. From optimising workflows to tackling complex challenges with a methodical approach, his contributions have made a lasting impact. Benson’s dedication and hard work have not only benefited our team but have also set a high standard for our future placement students. “The experience and insight I’ve gained at Carbon ThreeSixty has been invaluable and has inspired me to take my skills to the next level; It has laid great foundations for my professional engineering career to build on” Said Benson.

As we say farewell to Benson, we are thrilled to welcome our new placement student, Maksim Whittaker, who is also joining us from the University of Bath. To ensure a seamless transition, Benson and Maksim have spent some time together, with Benson providing a comprehensive handover of his projects and responsibilities. This period has been invaluable, allowing Maksim to gain firsthand insights and get up to speed quickly. It’s a testament to Benson’s commitment that he has gone the extra mile to set his successor up for success. “Thanks to Benson I have  gained a lot of experience in my first week and that’s just the handover. I cannot  wait to see what I will get involved in next.” Said Maks.

A huge thank you to Benson for his fantastic year of service and for his invaluable contributions. We wish him all the best as he returns to the University of Bath to complete his studies and embark on his future career. And to Maksim, a warm welcome! We’re excited to have you on board and look forward to seeing all that you’ll accomplish.
