As part of its ongoing commitment to good practice, and in support of our growing defence sector client base, Carbon ThreeSixty has secured certification to the latest “Montpellier” version of the Cyber Essentials Plus standard.
This externally-audited accreditation is an independent recognition of the security measures that Carbon ThreeSixty has in place to protect its technology, data and that of its business partners. The Cyber Essentials scheme is a cyber security standard created by the UK Government in partnership with UK business. It provides compliant businesses with a robust framework for implementing essential security controls, significantly reducing the risk of common cyberattacks like phishing, malware, and ransomware.
Will Battrick, CTO at Carbon ThreeSixty, commented:
“This accreditation acknowledges the defences our business has in place to protect our activities and the valuable information we hold in trust for our customers. This independent certification sets us apart from competitors in the composites market and underpins our commitment to best practice in this area.”
Working closely with local strategic IT partner, and cyber security expert, Mintivo, Carbon ThreeSixty underwent an audit that involved a technical assessment of systems, a series of on-site internal vulnerability scans, an off-site external vulnerability scan conducted by the accreditation body Periculo.
